[Accidental Video]

[There's a blur of motion and pages as the journal falls through the air and lands on the ground, a leather book bag and some other notebooks landing nearby. Within the camera's view is Ginia, holding a bag of groceries, backed against a building, and watching something (or somethings) calmly out of view. With care, she slowly ( Read more... )

[On the way back home, Ginia might spot a short, red bird. Her first instinct, of course, might be to approach and help her deal with the dynamite-spitting box.

Until, of course, Kazooie blows the thing sky-high with a well-aimed Grenade Egg.

She's a bit preoccupied, though, and there are a few other enemies - like a shovel with eyes - that seem intent on clipping Kazooie's feathers. Maybe Ginia had better get involved...?]

(OOC: Current setting is Glitter Gulch Mine, from Banjo-Tooie! This is playing within the simulation of it, omnipresently... though if you'd prefer a different stage, feel free to ask! \o/)

[Kazooie hasn't been in a backpack for awhile now, and she feels comfortably counterbalanced by Ginia's weight - this is where she's supposed to be, doing all the heavy lifting for stuff that doesn't require fingers.

And Ginia's actually pretty good at climbing. The rope holds her weight easily, though it does sway just a little. Ginia can probably see the opening of the abandoned mine shaft above her, showing off a square of blue sky.]

Unless this place goes all weird again, the Plateau of the Isle O' Hags should be just outside.

[It's oddly fun climbing up a rope to an unknown above-ground location. Ginia's suddenly glad for all the times Erika dragged her out to the obstacle courses for training as she hoists herself and Kazooie up the rope. True enough, the square of blue above them widens until Ginia's gripping ground and pulling herself out.

Yep. Plateau of the Isle O' Hags. She sets the bag down and sits down, rubbing her hands a little.]

[The Plateau is mostly hills of dirt and refuse rock around them, though a few things - such as a metal silo with a glowing green light atop it and an enormous beehive are the most visible landmarks.

There are a few weak area enemies, like the irritating Uggers and Gruntydactyls, but so far nothing seems to have noticed them, yet.

Something cries "Help!" occasionally, but it's not visible. As with the mine, a tune is playing, though it might change to something a little more like this if they move away from the mine entrance.

Kazooie is actually visibly excited.]

Hey, it's all here! Who'd've thought? A wacky thing actually going right for once.

... Man, it feels like it's been forever already. [Even though it honestly hasn't been that long since she was last here...]

[Ginia sits a bit longer, trying to take everything in all in. It's thrilling really, in addition to being very, very bizarre. But nothing wrong with bizarre, bizarre keeps things interesting.

She reaches into her bag and pulls out the notepad she was writing in earlier, quickly scribbling out a message.]

Since you're familiar with all of this, lead the way.

Though I have one question; where's the music coming from?

Background music. It plays all the time! Changes when we go to different places, too. [Kazooie is totally not bothered by this idea.]

I wonder if Wasp Lady's still around. [Her gaze swivels to the giant beehive.] Though I don't have any empty honeycomb to give her... too bad.

I still say she should've been mistress of the Jiggies...

[Background music. Right. Like walking around a grocery store playing a non-stop jingle. But the music is catchy enough so no complaints.]

Wouldn't hurt to find out? Unless she's not so kind if you aren't bringing gifts.

Well, with this junk going on, who knows? Still, I'm pretty sure I can deal with her if I gotta.

Feel like checking the hive out, then? [If Ginia doesn't object, Kazooie will go trotting off towards it, up the strong slope. It shouldn't be too hard to climb, but Kazooie has an advantage with those talons.]

Why not? Couldn't hurt.

[While Kazooie doesn't have issue trotting up the steep slope, Ginia takes slightly longer, having to be careful not to slide back down as she walks up.]

[Kazooie's starting to realize human-types - even if they aren't green - have some mobility troubles. So she actually does wait - for about two seconds, before disappearing into the hive.

There's a low shelf, and a few short hexagonal platforms inside upon which pieces of honeycomb bounce joyfully. Behind the shelf - where, normally, the eponymous Honey B. would be - several Honeycombs bounce, a representation of energy you would be able to get by trading.

A buzzing tune plays as they look around the honey-coated hive. Miraculously, it's not very sticky...]

Figures. She's nowhere around.

Hornet Girl's stuff is still here, though...
