[Ginia sits at the piano in Seventh Heaven and gently runs her hands over the keys, admiring the piano as she thinks about what to play. There's a lot on her mind and the chance to clear her head and just play and focus on the music is a small blessing. But she also knows she's not the only one with things to worry about. [Ginia will hear soft clapping over the journal when she's done, then a man replies after clapping.]

Thank you for playing.

[If Ginia knew that was Chopin replying, she might have a minor freakout. But as she doesn't, all is well for now.]

You're welcome, sir.

Is there anything you'd like to hear?

[He'll eventually introduce himself, but for now he's going to continue speaking.]

No, I was simply admiring your performance. You're quite excellent with the keys from what I listened to.

Thank you again. I admit I've had several years of experience and training, but there is always room for improvement. I'm a little rusty right now.

Dear Miss Ginia,

Know you any songs of the sea?

Yours,

Admiral James Norrington

Dear Admiral James Norrington,

I'm afraid I don't know any sea shanties or the like, but I do know a rousing theme song that came from a movie about pirates. Would that do?

Sincerely,
Ginia S.

((ooc; She's talking about the POTC theme, but since I really don't like to fourth-wall it's just a general pirate movie she's talking about.))

Dearest Miss Ginia:

Aye. I saw a movie once, about Indiana Jones. He carried a long and wicked whip and did all sorts of things with it.

Play me your theme song, lass.

Also Sincerely,

J.N.

[OOC: Okay, cool, whatever you like! XD]

Dear Admiral,

I've seen that movie as well. Quite fun and exciting.

Sincerely,
Ginia S.

[The audio feed is turned back as she sets the journal back on. There's a few seconds pause before she begins playing.]

[And although there will be no clapping or cheers, she will get this in response.]

[Ginia listens, a small smile forming. When his song finishes, she simply replies back with this.]

[Sheryl plucks a pen out off her desk and starts scribbling furiously. Inspiration comes at the strangest times as fragments of song lyrics start appearing on the page. Throughout the time that Ginia plays her songs, the diva will simply write anything and everything that comes to mind.]

((ooc; If I misinterpreted things and she's not scribbling on the journal and thus some of the things aren't visible, just ignore this comment.))

[After a few more songs, Ginia stops for a tiny break as the journal pings at her. Picking it up, she looks at the little mess of ideas and phrases lining the page.]

Excuse me, can I ask if you're a songwriter or poet?

[ooc: She's writing in the journal so everything is visible.]

[The diva looks at the response to her scribbles and writes in an elegant flowing script.]

I'm a songwriter. Why do you ask?

Curiosity, mostly. My brother used to scribble notes like that whenever he was trying to write a song.

[One patron in the bar has been extremely quiet throughout her performance, working on no more than one drink he ordered when he entered. He had, in fact, only just arrived in Luceti hours before. Denied his armor, he was in simple clothing that suited a man of his culture and time. Not even his hair was done up in its usual fashion, instead being left long and wild behind him.

Ultimately he does comment once her performance has concluded.]

You play quite well.

[Ginia looks over her shoulder at the speaker before turning around offering him a polite smile and a bow of her head in thanks. While playing for a faceless audience over the journal is one thing, it's a little embarrassing having someone in the restaurant listening in.

Still, if he enjoyed it, then that's all that matters.]

[No response? Some would consider that rude, especially after such high praise. Nevertheless, he opts to fill the lingering silence in the air.]

It has been many years since I myself have played.

[The rudeness is entirely unintentional, merely the effect of being mute and out of reading distance.

Leaving her Luceti-journal on the piano, she takes out a small notepad and pen from her pocket and politely approaches the man, writing out a message for him to read.]

Would you like to play, sir?

[It's not her piano to offer others, but Sanji had said anyone was welcome to play it.]
