I'm currently working on the next two pieces, but I don't know when I'll finish them. I haven't got the reveal all worked out, but so far it looks like it might be a little like that.

I figure someone else will be doing the usual stuff, so I like to change things up a bit, keep it interesting. I'm actually quite surprised at how well this pairing seems to be doing.

It was the 'chapter' with Parker that really hooked me on this series, her voice being so strong in your writing. That said, I really love how this is unfolding. Elliot I steadfast and gentle, for all that he can kick someone's head in. And Methos? Non judgemental, grey, fun-loving and secretly searching for home and hearth. He's a cat really, Methos - at least that's how I read him, he wants to belong somewhere but also wants to wander off when the urge strikes.

I can't shake the conviction that Duncan never really understood Methos, no matter how hard he tried. Elliot could, I think, even knowing all the complexities and history because he doesn't see the world in a dichotomy of good and evil.

And Amanda? I think she'd love the Leverage crew and would be a fabulous asset - if Sophie ever forgives her.

Lovely, lovely crossover fic. Really.

I had inordinate amounts of fun writing Parker. She'll show up again in the next bit.

Mostly I wanted Methos not to be judged too harshly, which I think Eliot can do. The way I read Eliot is he doesn't think he can be a good guy, not after what he's done, so he's just trying to do least bad he can, and I think Methos is fairly similar in his own way.

Amanda will do well with most of the Leverage team, but she will also have some kind of a history with some of them.
