Ooh, interesting new crossover. I squealed with much glee when Methos joined Tony's team. :-) (But Tony compares him to McGee? Really? ha ha ha. Too funny.) I don't watch Criminal Minds (the hair of one of the characters scares me. Seriously.), but I'm intrigued by Aaron. It's good that he's picked up on Tony's insecurities but hasn't used them against him. Very good. And it's so cool that Tony's team has turned into the X-Files division. I'm really liking this universe, so I hope you do more with it. Thanks for sharing. :-)

It'll be interesting when they meet. I've got vague plans for that, but nothing concrete.

(the hair of one of the characters scares me. Seriously.)

Would that be Reid (I'm not a big fan of long-haired nerds) or Garcia (she's my Criminal Minds Abby, so love her) or Prentiss (http://www.fanpop.com/spots/criminal-minds/images/7820397/title/emily-prentiss-goth-chick-80s)? Hee.

I adore Aaron and I definitely think he's a better match for Tony than Gibbs, because he's never used his team's or his wife's weaknesses against them. He and his wife even divorced amicably.

Thanks for reading. So glad you enjoyed it!

Yes! It's Reid. *shudder* His hair is even worse than Troi's "Bun of Doom" in the first season of Star Trek Next Generation. I don't know, it just creeps me out.

Hee. It is rather terrible hair. The only guy I may actually like with long hair is Christian Kane, and that's only when he's done it right.

Read this on ff.net this morning and adored it. You will be writing more in this 'verse, yes? *hopeful look*

That's the hope. I still have exams this month - weird time of year, I know - and I want to finish the next Sentinel School fic, which is almost done, and then, hopefully, my mercurial muse will co-operate.

I'm really happy that people like it though, I was a little afraid after so long without writing.

Hey, welcome back! ::hugs:: Missed ya, Shifty, hope everything is going better for you this year. (And maybe me too, while I'm at it. ::crosses fingers::) But as starts go, getting back into writing is a definite sign of improvement! May the muses be kind to us both! ;)

They’ve been meeting - dating? - for months, but they’ve never really discussed what they are.Courting, Tony, it's called "courting". And you are very, very good at it. Which should not be as much of a surprise as it is, given Tony's passion for classic films. Who else would appreciate the old-time art of courting a mate over the rush of modern dating than Anthony DiNozzo? Best of all, Tony's gentle pursuit of Aaron is sweet and honest, and makes me hope good things for the both of them ( ... )

Hiya! It has been awhile, hasn't it? From March onward I should have some more free time, which I'm really looking forward to. And I hope to have the Methos/Kronos installment of Sentinel School actually done then, too. I've been promising it for ages, but the end seems to be in sight. (It's suffered several computer crashes and rewrites).

So, does this mean you've been watching Criminal Minds? Oh, and at some point you need to check out White Collar.

Courting, Tony, it's called "courting".

You can't blame Tony for being a little gunshy. Besides, Aaron wouldn't respond to anything not slow and gentle in his personal life, even his divorce was ridiculously amicable.

Have you been watching Supernatural? They so totally plagiarised Good Omens with the antichrist and the kinda fallen angel (I suppose in that context, Dean is Crowley, hee).

But I'm hoping to have meetings of all kinds, inspiration willing.

"You don't play well with others either. You can not play well with others together."

It's Team Doesn't Play Well With Others! :D

I love this crossover so much, both for the slow building of Tony's new team and for his quirky courtship of Hotch.

As it turns out Adam is only in his forties. Apparently he started out as a researcher for some kind of historical society. Tony's disappointed since he was hoping for a few hundred years, maybe even a thousand.

Ahaha, of course Methos plays his cards close to his chest even when "revealing" his past!

I hope you're inspired to write more in this 'verse :).

Thanks so much for reading.

Now I just need Team Doesn't Play Well With Others (and I have to use that somewhere) to meet Team Gibbs, preferably without anyone getting shot or decapitated.

Methos only ever reveals as much as he absolutely has to, to do otherwise wouldn't be Methos. I really wish there was an actual word for that, like methosian: the act of being cunning or deceptive for self-preservation and/or amusement.

Just read this, and wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it. I like the team you've set up; most of the characters are familiar to me, and you write them well.

Has any part of the sequel been posted yet? Or are you waiting until it's finished to post it? I'm definitely going to read the sequel ... I want to see what Tony does with his team, and how things work out between Tony and Aaron.

Great stuff ... now I'll have to wend my way through your other stories. Sigh. Such a chore. Not. ;)

This is what comes of having two accounts and writing replies before I've had my coffee. Sorry for the double reply!

Really glad you enjoyed it!

I do have bits of the sequel written but it needs some serious tweaking and I won't be posting it here until it's finished. I tend to get too distracted if I post bits at a time - as evidenced by my first two fics, which are *still* wips.

Have fun.
