Little miss Moon passed away today. She really was a phenominal little dog and I'll miss her a lot. We buried her this evening - with her favorite blanket and a nutrigrain bar (her newest favorite snack) and all I could think was that she'd rather have had the prime rib. Thanks. She was doing well, we thought she would pull through, but she stopped eating or drinking anything. The vets did everything they could - it just wasn't enough. It's almost like she was giving us time to adjust, come to terms with it, before she let go.

So sorry to hear about your loss. You are probably right with her giving you time, same thing happened when my Sara died.

Be comforted in the fact that Miss Moon is in a better place, probably with other family members, and will come back to visit every now and then.
