VCON 36 was...

Awesome. Entertaining. Exhausting. Pretty damn excellent.

Even the Vancouver Sun had a pretty cool article about us.

BTW, I didn't realize till now that you were "Interfilk Guest" at OVFF this year. Congrats!

As to whether I can make it to OVFF this year, that's doubtful; I really cannot afford it. I need a New Job pronto, like a few others I could name. So near and yet so far ... :-/

Your post here could pretty much sum up my reaction to Squee Weekend! :-) Except for the part about being reported in the paper. Or, that is, I don't think we've been reported *yet*.

That's almost as bad as the (Facebook) friend of mine who posted a pic of two crows with the caption "attempted murder". I understood it -- collectively. :-)

Glad you had a good V-Con. It's just a damn shame that it almost always runs opposite of Archon. (Except, next year, we're moving 2 weeks later, so maybe we won't be opposite of each other?)

Archon was a total non-stop hustle for me - I was totally booked almost all weekend - people wanted long blocks of time! My gross receipts for the weekend were close to $600 and after paying for everything, I still came out ahead! *g*
