The IOA is INVADING VANCOUVER!
As many of the SGA folks on my list are probably already aware, David Hewlett and Robert Picardo were both in Vancouver last week to shoot an episode of SGU.
I was at a concom meeting yesterday and, in an interesting turn of events, VCON is playing host to a Robert Picardo signing this Saturday, September 18th - Mr. Picardo will be at Imperial Hobbies signing autographs from noon till the fans stop coming/5:30 when they close - whichever comes first.
If you are able to get here and you've never had the chance to meet the actor behind Richard Woolsey before, I encourage you to come out. He's a lovely man, very appreciative of his fans, and seems like a genuinely nice guy.
The local Stargate Meetup group is having an event - oh look, I'm involved with that! What a surprise!
