Am with family (with kids behind me in the room) and have not had time to do this justice reading let alone in comments, but I wanted to adore and worship you for the Star Trek marathon and the shore and the kissing -- this is EXACTLY the sort of mood I was hoping for, only better because I never would have thought to include all these details.
More later and I hope you are having a wonderful holiday!
I was loving it as I was reading, and then I got to the Trek. abughwehbbdb!!
That's a good thing, in case you couldn't tell. And the end is just wonderful, and I loved Sirius kissing Remus to wake him up. It's all just terribly good.
This is really interesting - it's like a crossover with Muggle-world, in a canon period that isn't really written about much; it's great to read something so unique. Nice job with the tone and Sirius trying to adjust to life after Azkaban, and Remus trying very hard to...well, manage, I guess, or cope. I really like the two of them here.
This is amazing. God! It made me want to cry. They're both so lost, but there they are, still moving, still trying. And Star Trek. Sirius as a shipper, that was priceless. And a little bit of our world into theirs and it sure seemed to work beautifully. I loved this.
