Lovely and achy and spot on.

I read through the rules first and then read the story, going back to the rule for each section. I loved that even just reading through the rules, you could follow the trajectory of what was happening and how MWPP+L were being pulled in all their different directions.

You've got the boyishness and jollity of the early interactions down just right, and it lasts long enough (ie the fun side of hexing James's shoes even when things are starting to get nasty) that the transition to angsty misery by the end is a subtle and well-worked one.

Aww, thank you so much. The rules were prodded at and pushed around and cut quite a bit to try to make the progression feel right, so I'm really glad it worked well for you!
