well.. thats so intresting that we both play polo and were on the swim team. We might have seen eachother. I know glendale high plays Burbank High. I played hole guard most of the time. And for swim team i was horrible in breast stroke. lol. Freestyle and butterfly were my things. Well see you in class next week.

Hi Selineh! Nice blog. I know that you are probably Mel's friend because you both go to BHS. Seems like your a fun girl who is involved with her school. That is really nice to see. Keep up everything that you are into and I hope you can figure out what you will be majoring in because it is vital to your development as a student. Take Care!

Enjoy the search for a major. I know I did; it took me 7 years! I thought that a major was a means of defining my life, not a pragmatic financial selection. Back then, of course, GCC was just about free- there was a $50 cap on total tuition. Now it is quite different, but, it is still the best way to spend the first two years of college. As you move through classes pay attention to how they impact you and your world view. Learning the material will come naturally if you do this, and you may develop a real sense of self awareness.

By the way, I now know who to turn to when in need a good joke-- I only have 3 good ones.

Mike
