To be perfectly honest, I couldn't have asked for a better cut off. It's open, yes...but it actually seems to have "closed", as it were. It leaves possibilities endless, and room for the TV crew to come back and finish up.

I love that my favourite SGU character was the sole man standing.

I'm amazed that it was left sort of tied up. I thought for sure I'd be banging my head against the wall if it ended with another cliffhanger like last season. I really did love it and thought it had come full circle in a way. :)

Ah, you worded it better than I had. "Come full circle in a way" is a perfect way to put it, I think. Complete, but still with opportunities hanging loosely in the ether... /all romantic and stuff

D'awww, thank you. That's so true though. -__- Now we'll never really know what happens with some of the "ships".

Destiny going to sleep, all the power going off, was the exact counterpoint to Destiny walking up in "Air".

Perfect.

That and also the "last supper" gave a nice frame to it. How they just left Icarus at the middle of the Dinner and how they had a final meal here.

Oh, I hadn't thought of that! And the nice thing is, on Icarus, Rush wasn't at the dinner, he was standing on the outside watching, and here, finally, he was part of the group.

That makes me happy.

I really like where and how it ended. I think its open but its open in a sort of "and the story never ends" narrative epic kind of way. There's so much they could do, its so enfused with possibility that, actually, I'm ok with that ending.

The ending was perfect. I didn't want it to end, but the way it did was just perfect.
