This episode ought to be enjoyed by the SGU haters, I'm sure. Much happiness all around (save Ginn at the end). I was effectively squeeing.
(I secretly had wished Volker was speaking about Nietzsche's book rather than the poem in 2001. Ah well, it's close enough for me. /likes Volker as well as Nietzsche)
Ah yeah, Rush has seen Franklin. He popped up less frequent than Gloria Rush, his wife, (assuming from his time in the chair via Human) but he was around every so often, offering scientific advice. We haven't seen those two in quite awhile, though. :s
Oh oh oh, thank you for addressing this. I kept scratching my head "kidney... back... uh..." but then I just assumed it was the Ancient technology capable of doing it from the front. What do you think?
I dunno! I don't know much about anatomy or physiology, but I do know there are quite a few organs between the front of your body and the kidney... and that looked like a pretty non-Ancient surgery to me.
I'm going to chalk it up to the writers just not watching enough ER. :)
This was a pretty emotionally turbulent episode for me, as a Chloe fan. Despite feeling that both girls should have a chance to be downloaded into the ship, I also found myself feeling angered at the risk of Chloe's consciousness, yet again. I was pretty much with Scott the whole episode (for once) with worrying for her; while worrying for the other two of course, but...I don't know. Chloe...again? How is she not going to be insanely traumatized after all of this
