Wow. Ok. Let's hear it for extended holiday weekends!

Took Thursday and Friday off... used them to go up to Goldmyer Hotsprings and camp overnight with superfun girl of previous mention. Joined the elite ranks of individuals in this country who have actually used an SUV for the function it was *built* for... i.e. getting it all shaken-up

So how far did you lift them off the ground? I hope you didn't lift them really high, then let them plummet to a not so cute and furry death! ;)

I'd say about 8-12 inches at max... was hard to judge since we were peering directly down at the little buggers. There were no cute, furry splats at least.. I think they were fine. Just lots of little flailing furry feet and tails.
