MOD POST

We noticed that since we removed the 'one-post-every-24-hours' rule, some of you have been submitting multiple posts daily. This chokes up the mod queue and causes everybody else's posts to move down the page way too quickly. Everybody loses in the end. Please avoid abusing this; otherwise we may consider reinstating the 24-hour rule

hey mod. i have a qns. if i have the unmoderated access, then can i post a few post as i wun be in the mod queue??

People with unmod access won't choke up the mod queue with their posts, but if you post repeatedly throughout the day, everybody else's posts will move very quickly down the page, which means that potential buyers/sellers have less chance of reading it, since there are so many posts flooding the community. This also means that the posts you've put up earlier in the day move down much quicker as well.
So, it'd be a great help, both to yourself, and to other members of the community, if you try to consolidate your items into one post, instead of posting 5 times a day, regardless of whether you have unmod access or not :)

You can, we're just encouraging some of the posters who post like 4-5 times PER DAY to consolidate their posts instead of abusing the limit :)

sigh.. i do that sometimes too.. and its really true! recently, if i were to miss 2 days of sgst, i take a loooong time to read up all e new posts.. its damn tiring.. and most are in cont e same post-er..

Precisely! It takes a longer time to mod so many posts as well, so everybody has to wait longer for their posts to appear on the community. Thanks for saying you'll do your part :)
