Omgosh! It's Beautiful! You have that perfect line of sadness and wittiness that runs throughout the Jack/Ianto relationship.
GAH I love it!!! XDD

Your characterisation is so perfect! I love that Jack tries to laugh it off when things get too intense, and that Ianto knows more than he lets on. So, so perfect!

I love this part:
Maybe joking isn’t the best way to show someone you actually care. But it’s become too easy to just break into a grin when things go rough. The world comes crashing down on me and I’ll be going down with a smile on my lips.
I still remember saying “See you in hell” once in a while. I was joking about death but now I can see why the Doctor cringed every time he heard it.
For me there is no heaven but my world has become my personal hell.GAH! SO LIKE JACK! It's so so so fantastic! It shows everything that he has been through and how he has come to deal with it. So wonderful ( ... )

Lovely fic - sad without being over the top. I love Jack/Ianto - hope we see more of them together in the next series of Torchwood.
