I like this. I can see Cameron as a dancer and, more importantly, as a teacher of small children, I also buy that House would be a little turned on by it ;P I also think your second-person POV works very well in this, it seems to work even better for House than it does for Cameron in 'Tragic' (which really isn't a hint or anything :) )

One nigggle: you describe her as tall though...and lanky. I always think of Cameron as being really petite, maybe only 5'4' or 5'5"...

Hi there...glad you like...

I also think your second-person POV works very well in this, it seems to work even better for House than it does for Cameron in 'Tragic' (which really isn't a hint or anything :) )hm, well, for some reason I'm on a House/POV kick... dont' know why. I have written him before (in some other fics, drabbles, etc.). I find him hard to write, I feel like I go back and forth from being somewhat serious to flippant and I don't think I can be as cerebal as he is. I think what has gotten extremely difficult and disappointing in 'tragic' is that we haven't heard House's POV at all, and Cameron has been very emotional and not very removed from her own life (at least recently) to see anything else around her. I have been contemplating writing the entire story again from House's POV, maybe I'll start planning that... I don't know.... funny what the difference might be. But regardless. I find him extremely difficult to write, and I don't think I do it particularly well. Perhaps I find it easier to write Cameron ( ... )

This made me smile, a big ol' smile :)

The smell of fresh baking bread is wafting in the air, making everything feel like a country postcard
So vivid...

A patient goes into remission, gets all excited and huggy-and-lovey of Wilson, and opens a bakery-cafe to celebrate his second chance at life! What does he do? He calls Wilson with a big old invitation. What does Wilson do? Promise to be there on opening day in support! Of course!
LOL... And can House resist the promise of a free meal from Wilson? Of course not! :)

And I liked House's inner monologue, especially when he was laying on the charm with Cameron...

And good to hear that you survived your first week back at work!

Glad you liked... I was trying to throw in a bit of House-snark with the country postcard line too... ;) Perhaps I should have made it 'damn' country postcard.. lol

LOL... And can House resist the promise of a free meal from Wilson? Of course not! :)
Of course! Which he obviously ignores! :)

And I liked House's inner monologue, especially when he was laying on the charm with Cameron...
I'm glad you liked... I always worry about writing House...

And good to hear that you survived your first week back at work!
Thanks! *hugs* It wasn't so bad! It makes a big difference when you're feeling better, you know? I just wish I had more time to myself! NO LJ time or writing time :( sucks! ;) lol!

Hope all is well with you!

This was such a lovely fic. It gave me warm fuzzies. lol I've been reading some of your other fan fics also, and I just love your work. You have grasped Cameron's and House's characters very well. Also your fics have a certain tone that makes them so unique. I could see this type of thing happening on the show (hint hint David Shore! :D ) Your fics are probably my favorite ones. *gives you Sunday morning coffee and brunch* I can't wait to read more of your work!

You have grasped Cameron's and House's characters very well.
Thank you. I'm glad you think you! Sometimes they seem so hard to write! Especially House! And with Cameron and how much she seems to be changing this season, let's see if I can keep up! ;) lol

Also your fics have a certain tone that makes them so unique. Many thanks ( ... )

How did I miss this?! I loved it... I always love it when Cammie takes House by surprise, and I could so see Cammie as a dancer. Wouldn't she look stunning in a ballet outfit as described?

I'm so glad I got to read this hun. I think you are one of the only ppl that can pull off the first person to such a point that I literally feel like I'm in their skin.

Wonderful job hun.
