2ND ENTRY - Blonde Bosses

In the few short hours of which my livejournal started, it has occured to me that this system is actually a very useful tool. Besides ranting, I think that my live journal can be used as a base for discussions about world events, and to perpetuate my thoughts on them. Being a fan of debatable conspiracy theories, I believe all of you, and I, will ( Read more... )

I don't think that I've had enough jobs to say I've had a worst one yet. I do, however, belive that I have a soloution for the problem you had at Tim Hortons.....sponge shoes. By sipmly attaching some sponges to the bottom of your shoes you can stand on cocncete all day and not notice, a more brand name alternative would be moon shoes, and they increase your jumping ability as well.

Steve I don't think we need you to explain why you were fired. You were obviously using company cars to reinact scenes from gone in 60 seconds.

It's interesting you might say this Zach, as 5 of the taxi drivers I met while working there, were actually drag racing their taxis. The most notable was a 1992 Chevy Caprice Classic, with an engine from a 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Can you imagine what the customers thought?

I've done some pretty evil jobs. I worked on a far last summer doing manual labour 8 hours a day in the hot sun. Then i got fired cause there wasn't enough work.
So i took a humiliating and degrading job picking blueberrys, ended up getting in a car accident, and made $100... about 1/60th of the damage to the car...

The summer before Park View Graduation, I was also on the blueberry platoon. I remember that people continously stole each others buckets, and that I came out with a measly 8 dollars (I did the job only the one day). Thess 8 dollars were actually MAILED to me, as I didn't bother to go get it, seeing as I was paying for the gas for my parents car at the time. I should also note that the owner had called my house almost 12 times trying to get a hold of me, so I could go pick up my 8 dollars.

bloody hell. I've never had a blueberry job, but I was thinking about it at one point, and tried to work out how much I'd have to pick to earn minimum wage. It came out to something like 200 kilos a day..

My worst job supports your theory - last summer I got hired as a delivery girl to deliver baked goods for a chubby woman with dirty blonde/brown/grey hair. When she described the position she said I'd be delivering stuff and possibly helping out in the kitchen ie molding tart dough into the cup thingies. My first day she had me clean out this old rotten fridge - it was so long since it had last been cleaned that entire jars of stuff were completely frozen into the back wall of the fridge. I got covered in fridge juice. It was so gross. She got annoyed with me for not cleaning fast enough even though I was only hired to deliver and "help" in the kitchen when needed, and I didn't see her wanting to jump head first into the fridge juice. Anyway, she could be a real bitch at times. I didn't like that job and she was a blondish large woman.

Did you know that bacteria/mold in a fridge can actually cause the fridge to produce more bacteria. When the air is recycled in the fridge, bacteria can become trapped in the chemicals which keep the fridge cool. The bacteria mutate, and are sent back into the fridge, to form a wonderful coated of evil mold over your fridge contents. Yummy.
