So he simply offered a slim smile--and a knock, really, it was force of habit--when he stepped into the hut. "Hey, Sam." He waved over his shoulder. "I can come back if I'm interrupting?" It was possible. As a rule, he didn't hesitate to interrupt Sam's work with things like food or social calls, but this place wasn't exactly home.
