I think I've discovered why I love DW. I haven't been on it very much lately, due to time, but I miss it. Anyways, I think what attracts me is a) the environment, but much more interesting, b) the meta and discussions and actual sanity. Not to say LJ doesn't have any of those, and I should know, since I'm friends with a lot of people who are big on

Any good communities on DW you can rec me? Somehow I never got started there. And Fandom Secrets is awesome :D Though sadly I won't be able to spend much time there either pretty soon =/

TBH I just lurk about. There aren't very many active ones; I keep an eye on the news stuff(the_dw_herald is perfect to keep track of everything DW-related) and lj_refugees. Most of the specific meta I read has been linked from a post on LJ or some kind of newsletter post. Really, I just stumble on things. Sorry I'm not more specific! You can check out my profile over there to see some of the comms I follow.
