But holy shit, this fic has got one of the most amazing, coolest, most badass apocalyptic showdown...ever. Like, I've read a lot of fic, and a lot in this particular genre, but this is so cool I just cannot deal. The final showdown is so epic, like, literally. It's on the same level, at least for me. I mean, they're different, but the level of awesome is just...awesome.

It's awesome! TBH the pairings aren't even the central part of the story; they play a role, but it's more plot>pairing. But I tend to agree about Sam/Gabriel, usually, and this made an interesting connection I hadn't seen before between them, so, idk, I kinda liked it.

I loved the whole epicness of it, that all the build-up had a purpose in the grand scheme of things. Most fic are a lot of talk and not a lot of action when it comes to actual action, so, like, this one is glorious. ALSO LAS VEGASSSS.
JW, but have you read Named? It's totally on my mine right now, and, well, if you haven't, you should, because it's awesome.

We just can't seem to pull ahead! No matter how much I vote. :/

Michael!Dean is my all-time favorite trope in SPN fic. All. time. It's been done a lot of ways, and few as well as Dies Irae. But I love it for more than just my favorite trope, because it's got another of my favorite tropes in any fandom; kickass, well detailed battlefields.

\o/ It's by McLachland, who writes some awesome, awesome D/C fic. Anyways, here it is.

I read it over the period of three days and got maybe seven hours of sleep in that time. CAN'T SLEEP, READING MIND-BLOWINGLY AWESOME FIC BYEEEE. Absolutely do not regret going to work in a daze, either. It's just so... Sometimes I feel bad for abusing my knowledge of the bible to ~get~ SPN stories, but then I read them and I can't really :P
