I so love this, and how realistic you're keeping everyone. All sorts of crap gets stirred up when a person in a small, tight-knit community is violated so brutally. And you're showing Rodney and John's continued reactions so spectacularly.

You know ... this is really, ... *really* good. I do like good, seriously painful h/c yarn, but rape recovery stories have been done, and for the most part done badly.

I feel obliged to point out here that I just discovered (and tore through) your "Broken" series ... in spite of the fact that I almost *never* read McKay/Sheppard.

Your writing/plotting/characterization actually manages to transcend the vast quantities of pitfalls waiting for you in this subject matter, and more than that, you've got me hanging on every new chapter!

Great!!! another two brill chapters to come home to after a 15 hour shift... I'm kinda worried though, what's with Rodney? he's up then down and seems to be getting jelous of poor John who has his own issues to deal with ::sighs::
