Aargh. This was so beautiful, but still... I can't forget that asshole Caldwell. What's he up to? And why didn't Bates warn John? Can't wait for the next part! And they're not even my favourite pairing... but still, this series just owns me.
Anyway. Beautiful. And I loved the fact that you let them play "Bohemian like you" for Zelenka... you were referring to the vid, weren't you?

Caldwell? You'll find out... eventually... ;>

My theory about why Bates didn't warn John is because he didn't want it hanging over John at the wedding-- the pictures were going to be taken and he was going to have to turn them over to Caldwell, so why ruin the mood?

I've fallen in love with the Dandy Warhols based on SGA videos. Must get! And, yeah, it was an homage to the video, though the song is a good choice for him, as Bohemia is part of the Czech Republic, so Radek very likely actually *is* Bohemian.

Oh, and thanks! Glad you liked.

Sly? A sly sense of humour?! The man's seriously cracked (and we love him for it!). I mean, "Being the cake and eating it with raspberries and cucumbers, steak, cheese, and celery sticks. And wasps flying around"?!

"Thank you, sergeant," Caldwell said, slipping the disc into his laptop and typing in a quick command to copy the files.

Is John going to have to break someone's neck? Cause that's cool.

Actually, on the show even, he gives me the creeps.

You know, I finished that part of the fic last night/this morning at, like, 3AM and I was thinking to myself "That is *not* spelled right," but I was too tired to fix it and then, well, it slipped below the radar today when I was finishing up. Anyhow, long way of saying fixed.

Thanks. Glad you liked.

*L* Yay for the reception! An' Kavanagh redeeming himself! Sweet. But Caldwell! *scowls and kicks him* Evil man. Good how Bates showed as much disdain as he could to a superior officer. Go Bates! Shame Novak an' Hermiod couldn't come. Probably Caldwell's doing, right?

And that thing Bates an' John talked about...did Bates tell him what was goin' on? Huh. And Rodney playin' th' piano!!

Thanks for this. I can't wait for the next chapter!

Actually, Bates was informing John that the piano was all set up and tuned. Not like John was on radio at his own wedding and reception, but Bates, being head of security, probably was.

*Is mulling next chapter...*

This is such a pleasant surprise!!! I was perfectly content with the series ending at the last installment, and here is another wonderful chapter! I really love the direction you've taken it, too.

That sneaky bastard, Caldwell. I knew there was a reason I didn't like him! *scowls* He needs to get run over repeatedly by the cluebus. Rodney and John are meant to be, and nothing, not the USAF, the United States Government, or the Wraith, can change that!!! So there! *sticks out tongue*

Thanks! Glad you liked. I did consider ending it with the wedding, but weddings are beginnings, not endings, so, ya know... (not to mention I had so many inconsolable people who didn't want it to end). And I had cool Scottish blessing, and song references, and Kavanaugh with a camera in my head (which, well, is a little frightening in itself 'cause you never know what he might end up photographing in there).

Kavanaugh with a camera in my head

Ack! That is frightening indeed! I would be somewhat squicked at the thought of having Kavanaugh in my head. *is having nightmares of Duet ala McKavanaugh!* Bletch. However, he is beginning to redeem himself a little. Just a little bit. ;b

Well, keep up the excellent work! I can't wait for the next chapter!

Heeeeee!!! I just realized how perfect my icon is for this story! *huggles the happy couple*

Yeah, I'm surprised sometimes at my choosing to even write Kavanaugh. But he just made such a surprise third victim and things just went from there...

Yeah, the icon is lovely. Oddly enough, I don't actually have a McShep icon. I've got a couple Rodney/Radek ones, but I've never made myself a McShep. I really should have an icon just for this series, ya know?
