Thanks! John just seems such a Scooby Doo person. That or Spiderman, but Joe singing the Scooby song in "Thoughtcrimes" (badly) made it the more appealing.

Hee! Yes. He would. It's probably what he sings in the shower...

And if it weren't too painful to contemplate, I'd write the sequel where Rodney attempts music education, but I'll leave that as an exercise for the reader.

Thanks! This plotbunny sprang full-formed from a drive to drop Thing1 off at a friend's house where I was going, "Okay. Aliens Made Them Do 'It', but what's 'it'?" And as soon as I thought, "Sing!" I knew which songs they'd be singing.
