Despite the intensity of the plot I couldn't quite get into this. Addendums like "his badly dislocated shoulder" tended to spoil the urgency of the prose for me and it's a sudden shift in PoV.

I appreciate your honest opinion. That particular line you quoted was meant to convey a sudden realization by Rodney not a shift of PoV, but I obviously didn't do it right. Gives me something to work on.

I really like the way you started with us so firmly in Rodney's pov that we were just as confused as we were by where he was. And the internal dialogue as well as the spoken rang very true to character. Nice work!

Nice. I liked that you mixed the humor in and definitely got Rodney's voice with this line - "You’re wearing a wall."

Thank you! The humor they have is one of my favorite things about SGA. I'm delighted you liked it.

I love how you've portrayed Rodney's disoriented POV, the natural way you've integrated the backstory into the dialogue, and Rodney's "We're" in "We're going to die horribly" - a good moment for him!

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked it. Rodney's come a long way, and I don't think he'd even consider leaving without Ronon.
