Beautiful description of Teyla. Radek does seem like he would have the would of a poet.

'Soul of a poet' Radek is always lovely to write in these short bits I do with him. I like to think of him as very scientific on the surface, but with a lot of romance lurking beneath!

This was beautiful; such lovely language. It's also a clever take on the no dialogue aspect of the challenge, with a legitimate reason for it, and in fact having the lack of dialogue enhance the POV by really getting us inside Radek's soundless existence at this moment. Very cool.

Loved this: cool fingers against hot skin, the calming touch that tells him this is real

Thank you!

My initial thought - just to eliminate all quotation marks from the story - felt a bit like cheating. I really wanted it to be a situation where there was a reason for the lack of verbal cues.

I'm glad you liked it.

Excellent job. I could feel Radek's pain. And can I say I love the fact that Teyla was the one to find him and offer him reasurance? Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. :D
