I have never seen such a hot summer like this year's! It's usually hot during mid July till mid August here, but this year it has been 33-35 degrees since the end of May! And if you add the humidity, imagine how it can be! I normally don't like summer and when the weather is this hot, I simply hate it now. Thank god, it has been raining since ( Read more... )

Poor baby, all hot and sticky for the past few days! That's the norm in my neck of the woods, though it's the wet season now so the days are a bit cooler because almost everyday there is some rain. Welcome to the rain-club! ;-P

:) Can't imagine living like that!! But I guess you get used to it in time. It's just too hot for me, I'm a winter person!!

Actually the hot weather feels different on an island compared to a continent because we have a lot of breezes. Whenever I visit the US I'm amazed by how stifling the heat is compared to home, even Miami is bad and that part of Florida is on the coast. So even though the thermometer says the same temperature, it actually feels different because of the humidity and wind condition.

So you might actually enjoy the island heat! ;-P

Oh, I am so with you on this!!! It's been in the mid 30s here for a few weeks, with several days of 37-38! And the humidity made it feel like I was swimming every time I walked outside.

We got a little rain this weekend, but if you have any left over please feel free to send it to Georgia. :-)
