Oh honey, that's lovely!! I love that Elizabeth is completely honest with herself as to why she's saying yes, even though she knows in theory she can pass it off as good leadership, it's not, it's all about her wants!

Thank you so much for the lovely comment! ^_^ I wish I could have done a better job at explaining how they become a couple and all that, but I didn't have time :) But I wanted to let Elizabeth have her moment of selfishness, because she's always putting the expedition first instead of herself and her happiness.

I'm so happy you liked it, and that was to me one of the best parts of the story. I wish I'd had more time to properly show what their relationship is like, but I really wanted to finish this for the fest. Thank you for the inspiration, and for once again persuading me to try something different :)

Even though this isn't one of my usual ships, I really liked this - it was sweet and Elizabeth was her usual thoughtful, considerate self, right up until the end where she did something she wanted because she could, and I feel like she got short-changed a lot on that score, so it was really sweet to see her choose happiness for herself.

What I love about Elizabeth is her willingness to do anything for Atlantis and the expedition members, but I also feel that she sacrificed a lot of her own happiness because of that. So I really wanted her to choose happiness this time :)
