I loved this, but oddly what made me weepiest was little Rodney missing his friend.

What great stories!!... and I have to believe that they finally do meet up in the 3rd universe!

I read some of the comments and saw that a couple readers thought that John was dead in the third AU. I totally didn't see that, and actually that AU was my favorite. I love the idea of them working together as teens, and I love the idea that Rodney would share credit with John 10-15 years after a high school project. All the scenarios were good, but that one was the one I liked best.

I love to read "pre-Atlatis" scenarios and I really loved yours. Whatever happens, wherever they end up, what is for sure is that John and Rodney will always have an interaction meaningful enough to change their life (and it seems in one occasion end it, eeep!). but most of all, it makes us see like in your last vignette how what we saw is the best of them all. so lovely!
