The prompt for the Last Fic Writer Standing Challenge 3 Round 9 is the following:

Theme: Aftermath
Word count: 1200
Characters: Team and any others - team is a must
Description: Write a team fic dealing with an aftermatch of some sort. Obviously, some H/C and/or angst must be present.

What is the allowable count over the word limit these days? I'm not necessarily over, I was just wondering.

The word count is merely a guideline. There is no problem going 100 words above it.
