Eeeee! I'm so glad you liked it!! I was reading something the other day where John looked to make sure Rodney was covering Carson during an attack, and this idea popped in my head and wouldn't leave. I tried writing a different story, but Rodney wouldn't let me so I'm thrilled to hear you're a Carson fan.

And that exchange you quoted is my favorite part of the story.

I know I should write more sensible, constructive squee, but I can't. I'm just too impressed, and now I'm grinning ear to ear. Beautifully written, fantastically in character, funny, scary, light, dark--the perfect fic. Thank you for writing it!
