Wow. That was too awesome. I loved the build, and teh way it followed with the actual time-line of the season, leading up to the final episode, building up emotion with it for a quiet yet still powerful ending. Very excellent.

Thank you!

I really wanted to write something that showed them growing together as a team, dealing with the 'separation' of Teyla from them, and what Rodney ultimately clings to in his attempt to bring it all back.

Glad it worked. :)

Okay, the last section nearly made me cry, but they were all fantastic.

There's something terribly poignant and sad about Rodney hanging onto hope for some twenty-five years. It just begged to be looked at in the context of everything he'd lost and given up for a very slim hope.

The first three sections fit their poems but it was the last section that really moved me. It is the most profound of the three by far, for me.

The last section is definitely the angsty part - the other three have triumph and faith to shore them up, but at the end, all Rodney has is hope and it's little enough compared to what he gave up.

Wonderful! I love the way the team is the centre of each of these stories. How these people pull together, despite how they're feeling themselves, and are inspired to continue because of each other. Thanks for sharing! :)
