Aw, this is brilliant, particularly the last part, which is also muy hot!

I'd love to see Rodney's reaction to the mercury-like metal and a rant about how John finds stuff *g*

thanks! maybe some missing scenes. :))) I just imagine that John is always looking around, maybe bored waiting for the scientists, and has those sharp pilot's eyes that catch anomalies in the field.

Oh that's lovely. I always like it when Rodney finally catches a clue, and to do it with a diamond the size of a football (or whatever) - well even Rodney couldn't miss that. I loved how he kept it as a diamond in the rough.

Turn over, Julia made me laugh out loud. It's my first name.

and yeah, that was a pretty big clue, but I think the funny thing is John wouldn't see it that way. dunce.

But the important thing is, John gets his rock back, and he sticks it in the junk drawer next to his old gun clips and his cleaning oil and the keys to his old Harley.

And the wrapped first edition of Stephen Hawking’s A Brief History of Time he finds for Rodney’s birthday.

It’s as good a place to hide it as any.

SO GORGEOUS!
