Aww, thanks! That makes my day that much brighter. Ironically, I was re-reading some of your stuff that you posted for the "Five Things" challenge, and it reminded me how much I love your "Power Monkees" 'Verse.

*BLUSH* Thank you! When I got the idea to set "Gifts" in the same universe and have John be one of the kids they raised -- it all just clicked into place. ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) Thank you so much!

Heh, no problem. If I enjoy something someone's wrote, I'll tell them. I'm not ashamed of doing some fangirly-squeeing while I do so. ^^

very cool. Are you planning on continuing this? I always like fics where Atlantis is alive in some manner or another.

Yep. I might even post a link to the story for the 'fic exchange that jennytork and I are doing, if she's okay with that.

was Terciel a former incarnation or an ancestor of John?

Mrr? I'd love to know how you got that out of this. Please, tell me. I'm all ears.

the slenderest of reeds. Terciel has hazel eyes and I thought that he was quite close to Madame X. In Fanon John has hazel eyes & a very strong/close connection to Atlantis. So that is how I added 2 + 2 = possibly 5.

Ah. Hmm... Never really thought of it like that. *shrugs* I suppose that could work. Then again, that would make John the nth-great-grand nephew (I think?) of the Watcher/Kalian/Atlantis and/or (following the "former incarnation" theory, a direct blood-relative of the Watcher/Kalian/Atlantis. Hmm. I'll have to think on that more.

I like this.

But then, I always like seeing what people do with the concepts of sentient-Atlantis or ship-spirits or reincarnation-as-technology. (Considering I wrote one, it'd be surprising if I didn't, right?)

I like the trial at the beginning, and the way you get a sense of Kali's personality, and the way that, once given the opportunity, she carefully decides on a low-key way to introduce herself.

//no one had tried to shoot her yet, so that was always good.//

Yes. Yes, it is. ^_^

Aww, thanks! I'm glad you liked it. Now that I think about it, I suppose it was partially guided by The Brain Ship series by Anne McCaffery. While they (the books) aren't exactly based on the whole spirit-in-a-ship idea, it's pretty darn close.

As for the rest, thanks once more. I'm happy that came across well. I wanted to delve more into her character and expand the drabble that I did.

And yes, not getting shot is always good. ^^
