That's really quite something.

It's nice to see Dave's POV. We know so little in canon about what really went on, and there is so much speculation in fanon about how things are - I like this. A lot.

My reaction the first time I saw it was that Dave was unreasonably mean to John. The more I watched it, the more I figured that Dave had no way to really know why John was unreachable or why a mere LTC had to go and save the world. I'm really glad you liked it. I keep hoping the brother could make a new start.

Me, too. I always feel shortchanged by the lack of Sheppard backstory (or sometimes the lack of Sheppard stories) in the show.
