This is quite interesting, especially for being based off of an episode (I thought) that was such a mess.

If you right more...I'll read it. :)

This is really very, very cool.

So bleak and horrible and yet tempered by a strange sense of hope.

Thank you! Yep, hope is the one thing this punishment has that the other wouldn't have had.

This is really great. I agree with everyone who's impressed with mini!Teyla, and I'm of two minds about whether or not I want the expedition to find them. John and Rodney would be shipped back to Earth, for sure :-(

Thanks! Yeah, the expedition finding them at this point would be almost as bad as not finding them.

This is really, really interesting-- a great tag to 'Inquisition' which was a terrible and lazy episode. I am so glad that you had Teyla speaking for them in your version-- it drove me insane that the Team did not all get a chance to speak, and that Teyla, who's their diplomat as well as being a Pegasus native doesn't get a chance to defend herself. And this is a creative and horrible and yet potentially hopeful punishment. I'm holding out hope because at least they're all together, and Atlantis isn't going to give up on looking for them...

The opening paragraphs describing these waiting rituals by those left behind when the Team go on missions is lovely.

Thank you very much! It pissed me off to no end when only John and Woolsey got to speak for Atlantis during the episode; they should have sent Teyla in right away.
