Oh, man, I'd been HOPING someone would write something like this, and you did such a great job of it! One of my persistent grievances about SGA is that there's never any emotional fallout when a soldier is killed; Whispers ended with Vega's whole team appearing to hardly notice at all! Thanks for bringing a level of dignity and realism to the situation. Also, pretty girls making eyes at each other, yay!

Very nicely done. I really liked the voices in this. And how you explained Porter's (conflicted) feelings about Vega. Also, thank you for sparing me from writing a fic about recovering the body, because Marines (well, military in general) don't leave their own behind, not if they can help it.

Very nice. I like that Allison didn't like Vega, but she still is able to grieve for losing a team member and fellow human being.

Also, Dr. Xerox is just funny.

That was very sweet, and the character voices were perfect! Allison's conflicted feelings about Vega's death are nicely handled as well. I'm delighted to see some fic for Dusty and Allison coming out of the episode, and this was very well done.
