Oooo, this is cool. Has a very hero-worship feel to it (because, seriously, Cash = Awesome Superhero Name for John). I was really wondering what would happen if this had been the case in canon. Very cool take on it!

Thank you. When I saw the episode, I kept hoping there was enough wiggle room to think they might have survived. John was in one piece, unlike the others, when they shot him.

Rumors spread of a man in black, beautiful to look at and handy in a pinch. Combined with the name he chooses? Perfect.

Thanks you. I thought he'd stay in his usual choice of colors. I can't believe he was thrilled with his six months in Pegasus neutrals in the Sanctuary.

Wonderful. You capture the pain he feels really well, and of course this is the sort of thing Sheppard would do in this situation. Love the choice of the name Cash - and the ending fits nicely (if sadly). Though lol at all the children born with the gene - ah, John!!

Thank you. I think he would have been lost without the others. I'm glad you liked the name. I puzzled back and forth over it, but ended up thinking he would have avoided any form of John or Sheppard as he tried to distance himself from the "other" one.

As for the children, well, I can see him sort of passively accepting offers when they came his way, maybe finding a little comfort. I can't see anyone really mattering once everyone else was gone. He was mostly running on autopilot.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It feels more like the bare bones of a real story, but I don't have the time or energy to write it. I really wish they had left all the duplicate team alive - it opens so many possibilities and they wouldn't even have to go back and address them unless they wanted to.
