You have a couple of tags open: everything goes italic at the link for Highwayman, and the link for Sink the Bismarck is improperly closed, so that everything after it is part of the link.

Good team fic! Nice to read folks getting a little down time. Thanks for having Ronon play the guitar. Too bad you couldn't work in Rodney playing also. David Hewlett has played the guitar in a couple of movies. 8^)

Thanks for writing.

Hope you don't mind. Minor betas:

Lorne is Air Force.

"Elizabeth through a few of the buds..." - threw

"John could not put the breaks on one of his people's ambition" - brakes

SPOILER ALERT FOR "OUTCAST" -
You wouldn't have known this unless you read his blog, but Executive Producer Joe Mallozzi said "I imagined John being the big brother." It's kind of implied when Dave accused John of running away and leaving Dave to tend to the business. Taking over the family business is usually the duty of the eldest son. But since it wasn't stated explicitly in the show, it can go ether way. In real life, which of course doesn't mean anything for the characters, Joe Flanigan is two years older than the actor who played Dave, Dylan Neal.

Thanks for the comments and catching a few things that got missed.

I'm curious with the Lorne being Air Force -- is it actually ever stated in an episode? I was trying to remember and couldn't.

Also, personally, I have a bit of a problem with John being the eldest going back to Letters From Pegasus -- I just don't see him not sending *something* to a younger brother even if they were estranged -- too much leaving a man behind for me. And since they chose not to say one way or the other so far, I'm going to go with John being the younger :)

Thanks again for taking the time to comment.

It's not *stated*, but Lorne is wearing Air Force dress blues at Carson's funeral. Mystery solved.

As for LfM? My bet: John didn't have a brother at the time. Ah, retcon.

Interesting story, I enjoyed it a lot, and the links too.

Thanks for reading and commenting. I'm never sure if links are distracting and basically indulgences, so it's cool that someone clicked.

And about Lorne -- I don't know why I spaced on Sunday showing us. Thanks for refreshing my memory. Of course, I do have to wonder if that was also retconned since he did seem more Marine in SG1 to me ;)
