Wow...that was SO bizarre that I stopped reading after the first paragraph. Fortunately, just as I clicked away I *got* it and frantically clicked back to finish...a really weird, but ultimately great read. I don't know where the Lamp!Team idea came from but it is bizarre and wonderful! And I love the way you describe the connection between Cord!John and SurgeProtector!Rodney. Especially *“Is this what it feels like for you… with Katie?” Please say no, please say no, please say no.* So sweet!

Honestly the idea for the Lamp!fic came from changing the lightbulb on one of our lamps to a compact fluorescent bulb and how it really did remind me of Ronon. *G* Thanks so much! I'm glad you gave it a second chance.

Hee! I love all three of these! The handgun/holster one I had to reread -- one as a metaphor and once literally, and it was great both times. The second one just rocked. The team, all parts of the same lamp! Awww! And I really loved the third one. Rodney's tac vest has certainly seen more action than it expected. :) And it's a little bit like him, getting all offended when no one notices its noble sacrifice.
