Hopeful, and smart, and any number of good things. Very warm and very well characterized.

Because, hey. You don't need to get massively guilty every time things go wrong. You just try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Thank you!

>Very warm<

Atlantis hits one of my fictional soft spots, which is that these people do plainly have a lot of respect and affection, and well, warmth towards each other. I'm glad that came through.

Whee! Thank you.

I'm fond of the line you pointed out, so I'm glad someone else liked it. :)

Very well done: I liked it. Especially the look at each different character's POV. And the Sheppard/McKay friendship was handled just right.

Plus I really liked McKay's dismissive wave to Caldwell. :)

Thank you! I've written almost exclusively Sheppard's POV before, so it was a bit of a stretch to do the others.

Hee! McKay just doesn't get intimidated by rank, does he?

Heh heh heh. I am looking forward to seeing it in S2 now that you've pointed that out! :p

Oh this is good. You've got everyone flawlessly in character.

When he looked up from his hands, Rodney was looking at him with a mixture of ruefulness and pain and what looked like affection. "We have all gone insane," he said matter-of-factly.

Heh. Yeah, probably but it's fun to watch. Seriously awesome writing.
