And he did a pretty good job of it.... he was being extraordinarily tight-lipped as to why he was 'battered and dirty', though. John TRIED to prise it out of him with the "last few hours" bit, and I thought Rodney was gonna take his head off!

My characters get minds of their own. Damn annoying at times.

A great team story - I love the reason for the blindness; nice way to make McKay the only sighted one.

The puppy line was suggested by my husband to cover up the fact that I horribly misused "petted" instead of "patted" -- I was embarrassed, he found a John-snark moment.

I went with his idea. *grin*

...I seriously want to read about the entire mission! MORE! MORE! (I'll give you a cookie... One of those really big chocolate chip ones)

Rodney, visibly battered and dirty, was sitting - trembling - in the pilot's chair, lowered his hands from the controls. “I have never been so happy to be home in all my life” His voice trembled with exhaustion.

It's like we've been given just a slight peak of what's been going on an it amped my anticipation up to level 10. Awesome.

first of all -- ICON LOVE!!!!

Secondly, I'd not considered fleshing this mission out -- but now I'm giving it some thought. Let me see what I can do -- but be warned, I'm a horribly slow writer with my fingers stuck in several different fandoms' pies.

I had never considered adding this as a fandom, but these boys are too wonderful not to play with!
