Nicely done. Very intense and natural. I like the fact that they just made things worse for themselves; there's a certain nobility in that sacrifice.

Beautiful and sad. Lovely in a melancholy way.

(I hope you don't mind that in my head something comes along to fix it and they do live happily ever after. Because I am an awful sap and do not like unhappy endings.)
