Oh, good. I really was quite worried about the ending, but it did feel complete and correct, to me. As for the angel wings... No, no, don't tempt me! ;-)

Has it? (I've only read about 10% of the total fanfic out there, so far.) It's a rather obvious idea, I suppose, given his "born to fly" nature. Actually, it's not a winged!John story that's clamouring to be written, as much as a winged!John pic that's clamouring to be drawn. Unfortunately, I don't think I have the artistic skill to do justice to the very clear image in my head. Grr!

I know. *hangs head in shame.* I took a perfect slash premise, and totally wasted it. *guilty look*. What can I say? I've done slash in other fandoms, so if I ever get converted in this fandom, I'll return to this and do it properly. :-) But still trying not to think about the wingfic... That way madness lies... ;-)

Thanks! My initial idea was 100% humorous. I was half asleep yesterday afternoon, (result of very late night on Friday), and pretty much the entire dialogue of this story wrote itself in my head in one go. However, by the time I got myself to the computer to write it, it had turned into something rather more serious and painful.
