Interesting fic! I LOVE stories like this. I loved SG1's "Crystal Skull" and I've always wanted to see an SGA version. I could totally picture McKay's sturggles of trying to communicate. The Wraith being able to hurt him and Chaya being the only one to see him were neat twists, as was the final one. Awesome job and now I'm going to have to rent Ghost. ^_^

Thank you so much! I loved "Crystal Skull" too. (I was tempted to throw a line in there about how Daniel's grandfather was a waste of carbon, but fortunately, the opportunity never presented itself.) I'm glad you liked it!

Thank you so much! ^^ For a while there (well, maybe not a 'while', as the idea came to me over the span of a morning), I wasn't entirely sure where it was going myself; it seemed kind of cheap to go "Oh! He wasn't really dead all along", but I didn't want to posit a universe in which this was actually what happened after death, either, so-- this is how it turned out, even if I don't quite remember how. ^^; The last time[s] I tried a twist like this, nobody even realized there was a twist, so-- I'm glad it worked!

I felt so sorry for him, having to answer such an insensitive question. Even though it turned out not to be the real Zelenka, you could tell how close they were in this fic. And Rodney stepping in to save him from the Wraith Queen, even though there was nothing he could do...

Oh, yes. I do adore Zelenka. And given how easily they understand each other under normal circumstances, to not be able to make any connection at all... There was probably a scene there. *daydreams away, then snaps back to reality* Thank you so much! ^^
