Awwww...... that was perfect. Sending them back to Earth because they are injured was unexpected yet somehow, real. Rodney's sentiment that it would take two or three replacements for John to figure out what John knew somehow by instinct is telling. Rodney wasn't worrying about his experiments, he was worrying about his people.

Nicely done.

Thank you *^_^* And yesh. John just... kind of seems to get Pegasus, you know? Caldwell didn't take long to pick up on things, either. And Rodney might not know their names, but he does try to make sure they don't, you know. Get killed. =D So.

It was very sweet. :)

And btw, I love little stores like that bakery you described. I ate breakfast at a cafe this morning with just the same atmosphere.

Thank you! *^_^* There's a little French bakery up around Marieta that's the most fantastic thing *ever*. If I lived near it, I'd be so overweight people would have to roll me to get me from place to place because I'd probably eat there every day #^_^# It's a good thing I don't, because I have enough issues with my weight as it is! =D

awwwww.. very sweet. I love how they find each other and hold on. Rodney's fear John would leave was very well done.

This was beautiful. John, so raw, so scarred and unsure. And Rodney making it all better. *squishes*

What a delightful story! Emotion and cake and stilted manly conversations that still manage to say so much, and scars and touching and just, yeah. ♥
