This was wonderful! Such good characterization. I loved the fact that John almost sounded like Rodney, he was that scared. Thanks!

That "Goddamn it, Rodney, this is not what I had in mind" is just so John, and I could see Rodney absently eating something in the back end of a long shift without looking at it.

Although I could see him, next day, demanding an investigation into who is trying to kill him.

Yeah, I kinda figured Rodney for the distracted-eating type ;P Lol - and yeah, I could see him demanding an investigation too.
