I love EVERY BIT OF THIS: John and the glory in him, and Rodney and Shirley and pancakes and the town and the Troub, all of which are so, so beautiful through John's eyes. (And John's nose grazing Rodney's temple, and dragging up the side of Rodney's neck, and nuzzling Rodney through his boxers is just the hottest thing ever.) *grabs John's big silver belt buckle and hangs on*

Also, the fact that there's someone in the story named Eliza makes me grin.
