I liked your story. I enjoyed McKay's thought process, and you totally nailed how the different people on Atlantis would have reacted. Plus, nice Tao of Rodney tie in (I just watched the episode this morning, and awww, I totally loved it).

The scar wasn't what I was expecting it to be, but I can totally see how that would have Devestated Rodney, with a capital D. And well, I can see why he wouldn't want to admit to how he got the scar because of it.

Thanks - this was one of those stories where I wrote the pre-scar bit and the post-scar bit and then ran to my beta for ideas about how he got the scar. Her ideas didn't quite gel with me, but she did suggest it happened whilst he was in Russia...!

So glad it worked, and that it wasn't what you were expecting. Oh, I am so, so mean to my poor little Rodney...!!!

Glad you liked it - and I could just see Rodney being caught like this. I guess there are echoes of Alina in The Brotherhood here, so not exactly a new idea!! And you're right, they do keep getting caught out by so called 'allies' - you'd think they'd have learnt by now: Genii, Hoffans, Asurans etc...!
