oh wow. that was really good. just beautiful. I love the idea that Rodney would turn to beliefs even if he is a man of science. and this particular one was perfect. I love how each one of his team mates have their own way of searching, and I'm so glad that he came back (i don't know what wouldve happened if he hadn't)

Thank you for your comments, I'm so glad the story worked for you. John belongs to all of them, he's a part of the chosen family on Atlantis, they couldn't give up hope.

I'm so glad that he came back (i don't know what would've happened if he hadn't)

There was no way he wouldn't make it back to Rodney (and Atlantis, mostly Rodney :)

Beautifullly done! I loved this...

Hmm, I don't think we do toro nagashi in Chinese Buddhist but we do have something similar to guide the spirits away :)

Oh thank you :)

I updated the author's notes, I became familiar with the ceremony from a Japanese friend, I forgot to add the country of origin :)

I didn't mean to make you cry <3 thank you

I'm so glad the story worked for you, and I'm glad you liked the stories of the rituals (three locations for author's notes. I think they're longer than the actual story. Heh.)
