OK, the wikipedia entry for Nibiru mentions a collision with the planet Tiamat. Now that sounds irritatingly familiar, like a planet SG-1 went to or something. Is that intentional?

BTW, great story. I can see something like that happening, like when the show ends.

It's possible they've used the goddess Tiamat, but I just picked Nibiru 'cause it was funny.

You're thinking of The Eye of Tiamat. It was in one of the episodes with the Russians...
I'm sure Gateworld.net's Omnipedia has something on it.

Anyway- I can see them going after Nibiru. They found one lost city and race, why not go after a planet and another race?
